Anders was originally born in Madison and grew up in DeForest. She lives with her family in Los Angeles. After completing DeForest Area High Schools in DeForest as well as Stevens Point University in 1997 with a bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree, she was born in Madison.
