Andrea Anders

Anders was originally born in Madison and grew up in DeForest. She lives with her family in Los Angeles. After completing DeForest Area High Schools in DeForest as well as Stevens Point University in 1997 with a bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree, she was born in Madison. She received her Master of Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University. Anders was involved in a romantic relationship with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met on the set of Joey) as her former co-star from the cancelled show. The director's brother is Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). In 2001, Anders began her career as a theatre actress. In the Broadway production Proof She was Mary Louise Parker's Understudy. In the following production, The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. Also, she was in On the Jump at the Arena Stage, New Doors at the Guthrie Theater as well as Two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. Anders was first seen on stage in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse show. Fat Pig was closed by July 1st 2007. Anders played Jeannie the accountant. Anders first TV appearance was in the Dannon advertisement which ran through the middle of the 1990s. In the following years, she was on television around the year 2006. Anders is a member of Joey in the roles of Alex Garrett the lawyer and The Class (nee Campbell) as Nicole Allen - an ex footballer's wife. She was on each episode of both series, but neither was renewed. Anders is also a appearances as a guest for One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light, and Tru Calling. Anders was featured in five episodes on the HBO Drama series Oz in 2003 as Donna Degenhart in 2003, she also made a small appearance in 2004's movie The Stepford Wives, playing the part of Heather as well as the film Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders appeared in Numb3rs in 2008 too. Anders was a part of two pilots for television that failed. Spellbound as well as News To Me were the two unsuccessful television pilots. Anders appeared on Better Off Ted for ABC, which is a comedy-drama that has just one camera. The script was written by Victor Fresco.
